Privacy Policy

1. Purpose and scope

The App is a private, internal business tool intended for a single authorized GfxCandy Art account. It is not offered as a service to the general public. This policy applies to information processed through the App and its connection to Pinterest.

2. Information we process

When the App is connected to Pinterest, it may process:

• basic Pinterest account information needed to identify the authenticated account;
• the authenticated account’s board names and board identifiers;
• Pin content supplied by the account owner, including images, titles, descriptions, links, alt text, publishing dates, and selected boards;
• technical authorization information, including access and refresh tokens, needed to maintain the connection; and
• limited operational information used to display publishing status or diagnose an error.

The App does not request access to other Pinterest users’ private information, advertising accounts, payment information, or contact lists.

3. How information is used

Information is used only to:

• authenticate the authorized GfxCandy Art Pinterest account;
• display the account’s boards for selection and rotation;
• prepare, schedule, and publish Pins chosen by the account owner;
• show publishing results and prevent accidental duplicate publishing; and
• maintain the security and reliability of the App.

We do not sell personal information, use Pinterest data for advertising, build user profiles, or share Pinterest data for unrelated purposes.

4. Sharing and service providers

Information may be transmitted to Pinterest when requested by the authorized account owner in order to read the owner’s boards or publish Pins. The App may also use hosting and infrastructure providers solely to operate and secure the service. These providers process information only as needed to provide their services.

We may disclose information if required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect the security, rights, or integrity of the App.

5. Storage, security, and retention

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect authorization credentials and App data. Authorization tokens are not displayed publicly. Information is retained only for as long as needed to operate the App, maintain the publishing schedule, comply with legal obligations, or resolve security and operational issues.

6. Your choices and deletion

The authorized account owner may disconnect the App through Pinterest account settings and may request deletion of information held by the App. Disconnecting prevents future access, although Pins already published to Pinterest remain subject to Pinterest’s controls and policies.

7. Pinterest and third-party services

Pinterest is an independent service with its own terms and privacy practices. Use of Pinterest through the App is also governed by Pinterest’s applicable policies. Links to other websites are governed by those websites’ privacy policies.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the App, applicable rules, or our data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when changes are made.
